Saturday, January 9th & Sunday, January 10th
from 1 to 3pm, at my home studio in Tsawwassen
These are small group adult lessons designed to introduce you to watercolour painting in a fun and supportive environment. At the end of the weekend the goal is to have a small finished landscape painting for you to take home.
The first day will be spent introducing you to watercolours and getting you used to handling them. The second day will be spent using what you learnt the day before to create a finished piece from a reference photo.
We will cover everything from preparing your paper, basic watercolour techniques, mixing paints, embracing mistakes, simplifying an image using value, sketching out your composition to learning when to say it’s done.
Supplies
I do ask that you bring a reference photo of somewhere special to you to paint. Other than that supplies are provided, unless you have your own you would like to use.

I do have a dog, if you’re uncomfortable around them please let me know and I will make sure she is not running around.
